Meet Jacqui
I am an author, clinical psychologist, relationship expert and public speaker.
With more than 20 years experience working in both private and community practice I specialise in helping people build better relationships from the bedroom to the boardroom.
During my career I have counseled, coached, trained and empowered thousands of people from all walks of life, including CEO’s of major corporations, entrepreneurs, blue-collar workers, models and actors and am often told that my open-hearted approach is both honest and supportive.
On a personal note, I have been married over 30 years, raising two children and building my business during this time. My marriage is a treasured relationship and of course, at times, it too has come with it’s own challenges serving as a reminder that we are all constantly changing and growing both individually and in the behaviours we bring to our relationships.
Ultimately throughout this journey, I have been gathering the wisdom, insight and experience to support my unwavering belief that with a new understanding and a handful of everyday tools everyone has the ability to create and enjoy successful relationships.
Sharing this life-time of learning, working to inspire and help others as they create there own, more successful, more joyful, more powerful relationships is now the focus of everything I do.
Professional Bio
Having recently published my first book – Rewire Your Relationship – my long-standing career as a clinical psychologist is filled with experience and colour.
Formally speaking, I:
- holds a Master’s degree in Psychology alongside additional psychology study to earn her clinical registration,
- am an accredited Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) Level 2 therapist,
- am a qualified Family Law Court Mediator,
- and a Clinical Hypnotist,
- whilst my professional associations include the Australian Psychological Association, the College of Counselling Psychologists, the Psychology Board or Australia and World Vision.
In recent years I have been featured as a relationship expert on The Love Destination and in the magazines Cleo, Women’s Health and Girlfriend.
I have enjoyed an acting career with appearances in live theatre and television, including the shows Prisoner, The Sullivans and Skyways, as well as in the movie Water Under the Bridge.
And, I have travelled and worked throughout Europe, the United States of America, Singapore, Malaysia and Yemen.
